Derrick Lewis Professional Exposure Camp

The Derrick Lewis Professional Exposure Camp is a two day exposure camp for basketball players that have finished their college careers and are looking to play professionally Internationaly.

July 21 - 22, 2018

Players will spend two days performing different drills and playing in full court games. Every player will be evaluated on all aspects of the game. At the end of the two day camp, 10 players will be selected to go to Europe to play several games against European teams in countries that hire American players. Additionally, each game in camp will be video-taped and made available for every player at the end of the selection process. All professional basketball teams and agents around the world will also have free online video access to every game from the camp. This assures that even players that are not one of the 10 selected to travel to play in Europe will still have maximum exposure.

Less than 1% of college players will play in the NBA upon graduation. Maybe you were that player on your team that only averaged 4 points a game because you played behind the star player on your team. Here’s your opportunity! Almost every country in Europe and beyond have basketball teams that play professionally. However, they do not get a chance to see all of the players when they are in college. We are providing a platform for you to be seen and recruited by these teams and or signed by agents that are looking for players to fill team rosters.

2 day camp is $425
The price includes:

  • Free video access for players to the camp games
  • Free video access to every professional coach and agent
  • Practice jerseys
  • Liability insurance during the camp
  • Hotel/transportation while in Europe for the players selected
*Players that are selected will be responsible for the cost of their plane ticket and passport for traveling to Europe.

I have been where you are and I have been where you could go. I was a 2 time ALL- ACC player at the University of Maryland. I was a 3rd round draft pick in 1988 by the Chicago Bulls but I eventually went to France in 1989 and played professionally for 16 years. I was a four time all-star, won multiple individual awards, and I still own the only quadruple double ever recorded in France’s top division. My goal is to help as many players get the same opportunity that I had to play professionally by using my contacts and resources I’ve established during my playing and coaching career.
